 Jessica Steen was born in Toronto (Ontario) to Joanna Noyes, an actor, and Jan Steen who is a actor and director. Steen is Dutch and Scottish descendance.



 



 Steen apart from her entertainment career is an environmentalist as well as an advocate for animal rights. She is a strong supporter of David Suzuki and the World Society for the Protection of Animals.
